A Half-Day Retreat Exploring Life After Loss
This retreat is designed for people who are further along in their grief journey and beginning the process of adapting to life after loss. It is not intended for individuals in the immediate aftermath of bereavement but for those months or years beyond the loss who may find the transition into a new way of living unexpectedly difficult.
The retreat combines evidence based understanding of grief, elements of solution focused therapy, gentle movement and guided reflection. The aim is to help participants understand their experience and begin building a life that can hold both grief and meaning. The central idea running through the retreat is simple: grief does not shrink, instead, life slowly grows around it.
